This weekend I went home to Boise for the Northwest Winter Film Fest. The Film Fest showed the creations of Toy Soldiers Productions, Inspired Media, Stept Productions, and Level 1. It was quite the line up to say the least. I met up with my long time friend and ski brother Connor Bogert. We proceeded to finish off 12 plus red bulls and have a hell of night watching some of the best skiers around. It was a successful premiere with a drunken Parker White running the show and the likes of Wiley Miller and Tim Durtschi in attendance.
While in Boise, some friends and myself also happened upon some really cool parking garage murals. I thought I would put some pics up for all to see.

Hike to Clayton Peak From Guardsman's Pass
Hiked from Guardsman's Pass to Clayton Peak this last weekend. Getting out there and looking around really showed me how many opportunities for touring I will have this season. The back side of Clayton Peak itself looks like a fun little zone. Here are some pictures from the hike.

Hopefully in the weeks to come I can scout some more areas out. It's amazing all of the terrain that is right in my backyard.

A Different Kind of Ski Season
This season should be an interesting one to say the least. I managed to fracture a bone in my lower back last season. I have been advised by my physical therapist that I should keep both feet on the ground this season in order for the fracture to heal. So this means no terrain park... I have decided that this season I am going to take advantage of the Wasatch Mountains and their numerous touring opportunities. I plan to get some skins and AT inserts and get after it. So look for some go pro edits and photos this season. Hopefully it will be a good one!
